Long time to see (again). Winter is just around the corner. At least here it is. We've had a beautiful autumn so far. I love autumn. Leaves on the pavements, frosty mornings and fresh air. Aaaah! I hope everyone are doing good? I am.
Man, so, so much has happend. I've been studying for over two months now. New city, new school, new home, new people, new routines, new everything. It's all very exciting, but at the same time exhausting. The first three weeks some of the "old" students had made a program that made it easier for us new students to get to know eachother, other students, the school and the city. It mostly included drinking, but it was so much fun! Concerts, partys and lots of other activeties to join. After those three weeks, the new everyday-life catched up with us; lectures and studying. And now, six weeks before the exams, I've realized I have a lot of reading to do (and i mean A LOT). And then there's all the big projects and essays that must be written and done in time. I'm drowning in work. So as you might see, I haven't had the time to even touch my camera. However, we did have a photography course two weeks ago. A very, very basic one. I didn't get much out of it, but we took some photos. Maybe some of them will end up here, we'll see.
A part from all the work that needs to be done, I love the life as a student! Attend to lectures, cook my own dinner (with various results), party with my new friends, meet new people.. It's great! And I love my class. They are amazing. The same goes for all the other students here. Everyone are so nice! (: Thursdays are the nights we go out. And Saturdays. But mainly Thursdays. That's the day the student house is open. Hehe, I've never spent so much money on beer. Well, well.
Oh and btw. I study media design at Gjøvik University College. It's a bachlor degree. This semester we have lectures in typography, photography history and something called information and publication technology (ipt). Typography is "yeeey", photography history is "mjaaa" (a lot to read), and ipt is "baaah".
Other than that I've joined the student teams in both handball and volleyball. Which is super fun and it's good excersising! And on Thuseday there's a concert with Datarock at the student house! They are pretty big in Norway, so that will be awesome. And on Thursday it's of course halloween party at the student house, and on Friday my grandad is gonna have a birthday party (he's turned 70), so next weekend I'll meet up with a lot of realatives.
Hmm, it's gonna be yet another great week!
